Drug addiction is an epidemic in our society and Las Vegas, Nevada is no exception. In fact, Las Vegas’ toxic environment promotes addictive behavior around the clock. It’s no secret that the problems of gambling addiction, prostitution, drug abuse, and alcoholism are climbing at an alarming rate in the city of Las Vegas. In fact, according to a study that was conducted in 2008, Clark County residents were 54% to 62% more likely to commit suicide than U.S. residents elsewhere.
Las Vegas needs help and the Teen Challenge Outreach is in the process of raising funds for a residential recovery center. Since 1958, Teen Challenge has opened more than 800 centers worldwide, including 250 in the United States. We’re hoping to add one more center to that list that is located in the Las Vegas area.
