The lowest point in Katilyn’s life was when she was on life support in the hospital from using dirty needles to inject drugs. The doctors told her mother that she would die within 3 days, but the Lord had other plans for Katilyn. When her mom told her about Teen Challenge, she jumped at the chance to get clean and sober. “I had tried secular programs before and something seemed different here and better,” says Katilyn. 

Going through the Teen Challenge program has made her realize that everything is out of her control. “The only way to win is to fully surrender everything to God. That includes my kids, my heart, my life, and my plans.” 

Katilyn is now using her story and her love to lead and encourage women and mothers in this ministry and allow God to use her to help others.
