Teen Challenge NorWestCal Nevada has a center for women (Twin Rivers) as well as two centers for women and children (Alum Rock and Happy Valley).

Alum Rock

    The Alum Rock Women & Children’s Center supports single women, pregnant women, and women with children.

    The program includes mentoring, education that includes classes on parenting, and job skills training. A well-balanced approach is used to help facilitate healing to all aspects of your life - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

    It is vital to take the time needed to rebuild your life, typically this is 12-18 months.

    Our center gives women support, protection, and encouragement. Being in the safe and stable environment of the center, individuals are able to heal and rebuild their lives without negative stressors.

Twin Rivers

  • The Twin Rivers Center welcomes women who are 18 years old and older.

    Discover a new life, without the control and pain of trauma. substance abuse, or life-controlling problems. We are here to help!

    Through a comprehensive approach, you can start fresh. The program offers mentoring, education, life and social skills, vocational training, and helps address the root of the life-controlling issues.

    To achieve success and be equipped for living a new life, the program is 12-18 months in length. This allows the time needed to heal and grow.

    You will be welcomed into a secure, healing environment with others supporting you on your journey.

Happy Valley

  • The Happy Valley Women & Children’s Center has women and their children at its heart.

    Our center gives women support, protection, and encouragement. We are one of few centers in the country offering your children to stay with you during your healing process which allows for greater family reunification and recovering together.

    Addiction, trauma, and other life-controlling issues affect every part of your life. Because of this, our program has a well-balanced approach and facilitates learning for all aspects of life - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

    By dedicating 12-18 months, this gives the time needed to recover, heal, and establish new ways of living - living in freedom and with purpose.
